A Writing Challenge: Day 3

So I know that its a little late, but the day is not over yet, so it still counts. Today has been another busy day, but it was also a day of excitement and fun! We were out and about shopping for house supplies, unpacking more stuff, and then we had a coed baby shower for a sweet friend. I was so excited, because even though it was a little chilly today, the rain finally stopped. It was a great fall day!

Praise: Today's praise is all about the little things God gives. He gives us little moments of joy throughout our day even in our normal routine. There was nothing really special about today. It was just another day of running errands and spending time with friends and family, but it is during these little moments that I find so much joy. Joy in the little things! These are the days that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in them. I praise Him for He is a God of joy filled moments!

Prayer: My prayer goes hand in hand with my praise today. I pray that you will be able to find joy in the small moments of the day. That you will look at each day as a gift and an adventure and that you will rejoice in it and be glad. I pray that if you are struggling to find the good in your day, that He will place little blessings along the way that will bring you joy! Help us to remember that even though there may be pain today, joy comes in the morning! Thank you Lord for showing up in the little moments everyday! In Your Name we pray, Amen.
